Evan can't wait to get his own synthesizer, so that he can start making his own electronic music, so that he can become a famous musician, so that he can get a fan letter from Adam Young of Owl City, so that he can tell Adam Young that it was Owl City that first inspired him to make electronic music.

Perhaps he can write to Adam Young FIRST and tell him that it is his music that has inspired him to make electornic music, but he can't actually make electronic music with no synthesizer. Then perhaps Adam Young will send him his firth synthesizer and set the process in motion.
Kind of like the compass passed back and forth between Richard Alpert and John Locke.
What I am really saying is that I am ready to watch "LOST" tomorrow night.
